Pat Buchanan is without doubt the most incisive political commentator that we have. His writings on the death of the West, immigration, the neocon influence in the Republican Party, and the Israel Lobby are brilliant and courageous, and they certainly have won him no friends among the most powerful forces in the Republican Party or among the watchdogs of political correctness.

So it is with a great deal of ambivalence that I must disagree with his recent op-ed “Making a monkey out of Darwin.” Link

Boca Raton seeks more arrests in 2008 diamond heist, shootout

BOCA RATON FL — Boca Raton Police have identified additional suspects wanted in connection to an armed robbery of diamond couriers that resulted in the fatal shooting of another robber in 2007.

Police have identified one of the robbers as Colombian national Edwin Andres Zaragoza, but authorities said that name could be an alias. Zaragoza has close to two dozen aliases and has been arrested by multiple agencies across the country. Boca Raton Police have obtain warrants on Zaragoza for homicide and robbery with a weapon. Link

Admits Blatant Discrimination In Hate Bill

Under questioning, Attorney Gen. Holder was surprisingly forthright in admitting that the hate bill is not intended to protect everyone, or even the majority. He said only historically oppressed minorities were to benefit. This means Jews, blacks, homosexuals, women, etc. Holder made it clear that if a white Christian male, including a serviceman or police officer, was the victim of a violent hate crime by any minority he would have to find redress from traditional law.
